Welcome to Greece – Island Hopping in the Cyclades
There is nowhere in the world quite like the Greek islands. Boasting crystal clear Mediterranean waters, cascades of white-washed homes tumbling down to the sea, and all the fresh feta and olives you can eat, these islands are paradise.
My Cyclades tour had me venture to Mykonos, and Santorini, two of the most famous islands in the world. I also ventured to the Island of Milos and Paros, which was my favorite island of them all.
Mykonos is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the Greek Islands. It is well-known for its beautiful beaches, granite stone streets, white buildings, and gorgeous turquoise skies.
My favorite part of Mykonos was walking through the Chora. Its picturesque streets; are adorned with white houses, blue-painted doors, and beautiful pink bougainvillea flowers. The Mykonos windmills are an iconic feature of the Greek island and can be seen all around the Cyclades.
