Welcome to Norway – Home of the Aurora Borealis (the Northern Lights)
My only goal during my trip to Scandinavia was to see the Northern Lights. I flew into the Arctic Circle and made my way to Tromso, Norway. Tromso is one of the best places in the world to see the Northern Lights, oh, and there is a Hard Rock located in the heart of the city. Two checks to the bucket list.
I wondered around Tromso Harbor and visited many local shops. It wasn’t as cold as i would have expected in October….until nightfall and a little wind made it oh so cold. I traveled about hour further north to see the aurora. It was so freaking cold, it was hard stay out side the van for long periods of time.
